This region is associated with many historical events in the history of Russia and the Cossacks.
For historians of the 20th century Siberia are primarily related to the civil war and foreign intervention in Russia. Under the leadership of Admiral Kolchak, the Bolsheviks after the murder of the Tsar and his entire family Admiral Kolchak was the Supreme Ruler of Russia, and Russia became the provisional capital city of Omsk.
Still on the First World War, but the front of the armed struggle has moved to Siberia and the Volga region. Czechoslovak Corps, together with the Russian troops and allied forces fighting the Bolsheviks in Siberia, which, after the Peace of Brest became allies of Germany.
